DevLog #11 - Small break from that...
Soooooo... that interesting idea went nowhere because I didnt know exatly what I wantedf rom it. I expected to be experimental about it and try to make a small puzzle but its becoming more of a chore than I want to spend time on. So I am taking a small break so I can come back to this game and hopefully refocus what im doing.
For now I've been making another mix visualizer for something I had hoped I could perform live. Unfortunately I am not quite there yet (primarily because I hate social interaction and nobody knows who I am), so I decided to have my own little bedroom rave for myself and hopefully catch some attention for the work I put in practicing my mixes. I have been using Koreographer which is a little tool for using events tied to sound for rhythm effects, Im attempting a virtual rave like before but with an actually curated light show instead of a loop that plays for one hour and slowly changes color. Right now im completing a script system to run everything through a set of scripts and move some lights around. Here is a little preview of what im attempting.
On a more personal front, im feeling pretty rough lately. The house is hot because we have no AC and i've been too depressed to eat. I feel like things will get better soon though so I have been holding on. I hope to spend a few days away in Denver for a weekend next month so that should help with my mental health. Im still working on my new years resolution of making 20/hr. I may have to dedicate myself to a side hustle at some point this year. Til next time u.u
